Tooth whitening procedures

Consistency in treatment produces better results

Steps to be followed to obtain a beautiful result!

  • Floss or brush your teeth.
  • Brush with the toothpaste recommended for the treatment and drink a little water.
  • Put a drop of gel at the bottom of the tray opposite each tooth impression.
  • Place the tray in your mouth and apply gentle pressure. If there is any overflow, remove the excess gel with a tissue to prevent the product from coming into contact with the gums.
  • Leave the trays in your mouth for the recommended time, depending on the concentration of the peroxide gel (refer to the syringe package for the recommended application time).
  • Remove the trays and rinse your mouth, but do not brush your teeth.
  • Clean the trays with warm water using a toothbrush to remove the gel, then dry them.
  • Do not eat, drink or SMOKE for one (1) hour.

For the duration of the whitening treatment and for three (3) days after the treatment, avoid consuming the following: coffee, red wine, beets, black licorice, food colouring, spices such as turmeric and any other food know to stain. Slight hot-cold sensitivity is perfectly normal during the treatment period. However, if you experience severe sensitivity that prevents you from continuing your treatment, we urge you to contact us. We can then advise you on ways to reduce the sensitivity. You may also interrupt your treatment for one or two days and then resume it. To better preserve your syringes, keep them in the fridge (especially during hot summer weather). Make sure to check the expiry date on the syringe or on its packaging.
